SMART Money Kids Program -We are happy to share that we have received a grant to continue our SMART Money Kids Program for our fifth-grade students. Please read this document carefully before signing up 2024-2025 SMART MONEY FLYER.pdf . Good afternoon Future Class of 2028 Vikings,

Last night was truly fun, it was so wonderful to meet you and your students! We were so happy to see all their faces filled with excitement to be coming to IS 7! We look forward to seeing them in the Fall and spending more time with them.

We urge all students to join the Google Classroom page for the Class of 2028 as soon as possible for all the information that they will need to prepare for their attendance to IS 7. This is a student only page, parents/guardians will not be able to join the page.

Please make sure that your student uses their student.net account to join.

We also encourage all families to visit the IS7 website for any updates throughout the year and to follow is7vikings on Instagram to see all the great events we do.

At the open house we sold Class of 2028 sweatshirts for your students, if you did not get a chance to purchase one, you still can. They are $30 cash and can be purchased through the school. The sizes are adult S, M, L and XL. Please contact me for the times to purchase.

We are excited for you to participate in middle school admissions this year! MySchools is experiencing significant site slowness, and to ensure you have the best experience applying we will be shifting the opening of the middle school application to next week. We know that you are eager to start exploring middle school options for your child and we are working as quickly as possible to resolve this. 

We will send you an email on Tuesday, October 15th with more information, including an updated timeline for application opening and closing. In the meantime, please check our website for the latest updates (schools.nyc.gov/MS).
