New Kindergarten Orientation Information
Welcome to Public School 5. It is my hope that your next six years at P.S. 5, The Huguenot School, will be filled with rewarding experiences and provide happy memories for you and your child. As you know, P.S. 5 has been designated a National Blue Ribbon School, and we have high expectations for all our students. This is why collaboration between parents and staff is essential.
Your child has been registered as an incoming kindergarten student for September 2024. As a kindergarten parent, it is highly recommended that you attend our Kindergarten Welcome Breakfast on Monday, September 9th at 9 a.m. A great deal of information will be shared with you, and you will also have the opportunity to become familiar with the school staff and PTA at P.S. 5. Kindly try to arrange for child care as there is a lot of important information given on this day. If you cannot attend, please ensure that someone you trust attends in your place to share this information with you.
